Meeting Description:
The 2014 Les Houches - TSRC Protein Dynamics Workshop is a forum for presenting and discussing experimental and computational results in the growing field of protein dynamics.
Interested scientists, postdocs, and graduate students are welcome to apply. Visit http://bit.ly/Houches14_TSRC_ProtDyn to download the simple application and email it to organizer Martin Weik at martin.weik@ibs.fr by March 15th, 2014. Notification of acceptances will be emailed no later than March 30.
This meeting complements the longstanding TSRC Protein Dynamics Workshop held every other year in the odd calendar years at the Telluride Science Research Center in Telluride, Colorado (see URLs below for further information) and is a small focused meeting with approximately 60 attendees, half of whom give oral presentations on their work. The small number of talks encourages relatively lengthy presentations and extensive discussions. Despite its small size, the meeting is very international in scope, with attendees from Europe, North America, and Asia. After the 2014 Workshop, it will be evaluated if the Les Houches - TSRC Protein Dynamics Workshop should be regularly held every other year, intercalated in between TSRC Protein Dynamics Workshops. The American TSRC and the European Les Houches TSRC meetings would then offer a yearly possibility to discuss the progress made in the rapidly evolving field of Protein Dynamics.
