Registration & Lodging Reservation System
Our online registration system allows you to register for your workshop and select lodging in one convenient process.
At discounted prices, TSRC offers our scientists a wide variety of lodging options, suitable for a range of needs, tastes, and budgets. Because the lodging rates are subject to numerous variables, it is only possible to review the specific rates that apply to your particular workshop once you enter the registration system.
You may click here to view your lodging choices before registering.
Please remember that those participants who do not book their lodging through TSRC will pay a $100 fee.
Discounted Lodging Rates
By booking through TSRC you gain discounts for lodging, and very importantly, you avoid paying 12% sales tax.
You can further reduce costs by sharing a condo or room. Check out our Visting Telluride Affordably page for more hints on staying in Telluride on a budget.
Sharing Lodging
There are now two ways to share lodging in Telluride -- always a cheaper option than booking a single. Some restrictions apply.
1. If you would like a roommate, but do not have one, TSRC can help. In this shared arrangement, each scientist will have his or her own bedroom and bathroom. We cannot guarantee an all female condo or all male condo, although we will try. Prices will vary according to availability, and size of condo. Rooms booked through the "TSRC Roommate Connection" are booked at weekly rates only, and maximum stays are Sunday - Sunday.
In the registration process, please select "TSRC Roommate Connection," and choose a room in Telluride or in the Mountain Village. Note that the accommodations in Mountain Village are much more spacious, more private, and more luxurious than in Telluride. However, you will have a 30-minute commute by foot and by gondola through the mountains to the town of Telluride (or a 15-minute walk to the Conference Center if the meeting is held there). TSRC will work hard to meet your preferences, but we cannot guarantee doing so as this will depend upon who else is looking to share lodging.
2. If you want to share lodging with some folks in particular, contact them before registering and determine what lodging arrangements will suit your group. For example, does the group want luxury or basic? Does anyone have a favorite lodging provider? Would a two or three bedroom condo be best? Does anyone have special needs?
Next, designate a head roommate. That person will choose lodging for the group in our registration system. There is no added responsibility to this title, nor any added financial burden. However, the head roommate must register first and select for the group the "first" and "second" lodging choices. Once the head roommate has registered, he or she should notify their roommates that they can now register. The process is self explanatory from there.
It is important to coordinate arrival and departure dates. One roommate may want to come in on a Saturday while the other wants to arrive on Sunday. One may depart earlier that the other. Make sure the arrival and departure dates accommodate all. (FYI: Condos offer "weekly rates" in which 5, 6, and 7 night stays are the same price.)
Do not hesitate to call or email Nana Naisbitt with any questions you might have.
Lodging Information
TSRC offers accommodations at hotels, which offer room service daily, but have no kitchens. These include the Ice House, Camel's Garden, and the New Sheridan Hotel. The condos at Around Town Lodging, Mountainside Inn, Telluride Lodge, and Bear Creek Lodge have kitchens but little-to-no maid service.
Some lodging options are located in historic Telluride and are a short walking distance to the workshop venues, gondola, shopping, playgrounds, and hiking or ski trails. Telluride is only 1.5 miles long and .5 mile wide. It's a tiny town of 2,000 residents.
Some lodging options are located in the Mountain Village, the ski town connected to Telluride by our free gondola and by roads. Options in Mountain Village in the summer month tend to offer a greater value for your dollar, and offer amenities like swimming pools, spas, fitness centers, and reliable internet. The gondola is close at hand and an easy commute to Telluride.
Sometimes it is necessary to spend a night in Montrose. Please click below to view accommodations in Montrose and more details about lodging in Telluride and Mountain Village.

Cancellation Policy
Full refunds for workshop registration fees and lodging costs are available before the workshop's cancellation date (cancellation dates vary workshop to workshop, depending upong the month in which they are held; you may cancel without penalty one month after your early bird registration expires). We do not guarantee refunds on lodging after the cancellation date. Registration fees are never refundable after the cancellation date. Consider taking our travellers insurance if your plans are subject to sudden change.
Payment
For all registrants, we require credit card information. If you or your university wishes to pay by check, please indicate that payment option when you register, and we will not charge your credit card. Or if you refer to pay by wire transfer, you may select that option at a $50 fee. If you indicated when you registered that you would send payment by check or wire, but we have not received that payment by the cancellation date (see your receipt), your credit card will be billed.
