Support TSRC Summer Schools

For nearly thirty years, TSRC has been self supporting, relying little-to-none on donations and grants. This is an exceptional fact for a non-profit. But exciting changes are underway and TSRC is embarking on a capital campaign to endow two summer schools.

TSRC has been an outstanding resource for the world's best molecular scientists since 1984, but our mission is expanding to include the education of graduate students and post docs. Since 2009, TSRC has been home to the Telluride School on Theoretical Chemistry, the first school of its kind in the United States. Founded by Jack Simons, University of Utah, it serves 30-40 students biennally. Plans are to expand the program from one- to two-weeks once funds are raised to support tuition, lodging, and meal costs for students. Importantly, TSRC has plans to establish a second biennial summer school called the Telluride School on Molecular Science. Already, $450,000 has been raised toward a goal of $2,000,000 to endow these schools.
