ALERT: JUNE WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS READ BEFORE REGISTERING

• TSRC: The Telluride Blue Grass Festival has become widely popular, making lodging a bit of a strain for workshops taking place the week of June 17th and June 26th. All invited TSRC participants should register immediately so TSRC can secure your lodging. If your workshops starts June 17th, you must depart Telluride on June 21st. If your workshop starts June 26th, you cannot arrive any sooner than June 25th. If you are staying two weeks over both these time periods, call Rory Sullivan at 970-708-4542 or email him at rory@telluridescience.org to make special arrangements.
• LUEST: Everyone must depart Telluride on June 22 because of the popular Blue Grass Festival taking place immediately following the conference.  Register now. One bedroom and kitchenettes are available in the town of Telluride at Mountainside Inn only. 

Participation

• Anyone may register for the LUEST Conference June 18-22. Participation is capped at 80 people total and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Oral presentations at TSRC workshops are by invitation only. If you are
  interested in attending a meeting, contact the workshop
  organizer about availability before registering because the meetings are very small, typically only about 25 people.
• Please do not register unless you have the permission of the workshop organizer

Dates:

• Workshop Schedules are set by the organizers. Most workshops meet Monday morning at 8:00am or 9:00am. Most finish by noon on Friday. Contact your organizer for specifics.
• Travel Dates: Plan to arrive by Sunday and depart no earlier than Friday late afternoon or on Saturday. Extended stays are usually easy to arrange for those who want them. Select the travel dates that are ideal for you.

Important Financial information:

• Early Payment Required -  TSRC has negotiated discounted lodging rates for our participants. We are able to offer these tax-free, discounted rates only by reserving and paying for blocks of rooms in advance. Consequently within some weeks of your registration, if paying by credit card, your card will be processed for payment of lodging and registration fee in full. There are specific payment deadline dates for each workshop. Please note that if we do not receive "other" payment by the payment deadline date for your workshop, your credit card will be billed.
• Refund Policies - TSRC can only guarantee refunds on cancellations or changes to lodging reservations prior to the "cancellation deadline" date of your specific workshop. Click on the name of your workshop at http://www.telluridescience.org/reg/current_workshops.php to see the cancellation date. If you must cancel after the cancellation date, we will request a refund from the lodging provider, but they will generally only grant a refund if they are able to re-book the room and they may charge a cancellation fee. If it becomes possible to grant a lodging refund after the cancellation date, TSRC may likely charge a minimum $25 admin fee due to credit card processing fees. The workshop fee is non-refundable after the cancellation date. Take our traveller's insurance if you fear you may have to cancel with short notice. TSRC is not responsible when refunds are impossible. 
• Sudden late arrivals and sudden early departures are non-refundable events.
• Travel Insurance - Since TSRC cannot guarantee refunds, it is advisable that you take out travel insurance to cover the cost of lodging and registration, should you need to cancel after the deadline. TSRC does not sell this insurance. Please contact your own insurance agent to purchase this insurance. This is especially critical if you are sharing lodging with other TSRC participants.
• Cancellation Dates - If your workshop starts in June, the "cancellation date" is March 1st. If your workshops starts in July, the "cancellation date" is April 1st. If your workshop starts in August, the "cancellation date" is May 1st. For winter workshops, cancellation dates vary.
• Late Registration -If you register after the payment deadline, you will be required to pay by debit of credit card. Checks and wire transfers are not allowed.

Registration requires six easy sections

• Workshop Choice - Please select one workshop at a time to register. If you are registering for multiple workshops, you can now complete the first registration, then click a button that will duplicate most of your information onto the second (or third) registration.
• Lodging & Roommate Information - Hotels provide the maximum flexibility for last minute scheduling changes. Condos are much less flexible. In the registration process, you will be asked to make a first and second choice of lodging. Please review lodging information prior to beginning registration. TSRC now offeres a service of matching roommates called, "TSRC Roommate Connection" to make lodging more affordable for those willing to give up a little privacy. Also, please note that if you decide to book your own lodging your registration fee will increase by $100 dollars.
• Off-site Lodging -- If you arrange your own lodging, an "off site" fee of $100 will be added to your registration fee over-and-above the standard rate. If you decide later to book through TSRC, the $100 will be credited toward your lodging costs. 
• Participant Information - This section asks for your contact information, including email address. Please make a note of what email address you use to register. Your email address becomes your key to viewing your lodging confirmation and obtaining your receipt. Also, please include your cellphone number if you will be bringing it with you to the workshop or conference.
• Diversity Information - TSRC is committed to diversity. Information requested of you is this section will be kept anonymous. Thank you in advance for helping us aim higher, by gathering necessary information to map progress.
• Other Information - Please indicate any family members accompanying you to Telluride. Family members are invited to our weekly picnics, Town Talks, and other pertinent events. This information helps TSRC tract our economic impact on Telluride.
• Payment Information -  Credit card information is required at the time of registration. However, you have the option to select another method of payment, such as payment by check or wire transfer. If you choose to pay by wire transfer, a $50 additional fee will be assessed. Please note that if we do not receive "other" payment by the payment deadline date for your workshop, your credit card will be billed. If paying by credit card, please note that we will not charge your credit card until we have confirmed your lodging reservation with the lodging provider. This can take days or weeks. You will be provided with an estimated total of the lodging cost at the time of registration. Late Registration -If you register after the payment deadline, you will be required to pay by debit of credit card. Checks and wire transfers are not allowed.
